| About Century |
| Century is located on the Western Highlands of Florida, on the western edge of the Escambia River floodplain. Its total area is 3.3 square miles with .1 square miles of water. It is made mostly of sand, silt and clay hills. The highlands are deeply incised by creeks and rivers.
Its roadway network is very irregular because its boundaries established a unique survey system that was implemented before Florida became a state. Another reason is because Century was originally built around the Louisville and Nashville Railroad.
