Cutler Bay is an incorporated town located in Miami-Dade County, Florida from SW 184th Street (Eureka Dr) east of US-1 to the coast, and north of Black Point Marina. As of the 2000 census this town was part of a census-designated place Cutler Ridge and had a total population of 24,781. On January 11 2005, residents on this unincorporated community voted to incorporate, making it the youngest incorporated place in Florida. In November of 2005, the area was incorporated as "Cutler Bay". In part named after the former town of "Cutler" which existed at the turn of the century but was disincorporated during the depression. |
